2004: Led the Houston Texans for the third straight season in tackles with 138 tackles, two sacks, nine passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Is a leader on the field as well as being a great locker room presence. Signed with the Seahawks in the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and immediately was installed as a starter on the outside for the Hawks. His tackling and blitzing abilities will add a different look for Seahawk opponents in 2005.
Has started 127 of a possible 128 games and has never missed a game due to injury.
2003: Led the entire league in 2003 with 195 tackles. Houston head coach Dom Capers continually used Sharper in different ways, moving him around so teams couldn't focus on him. Also posted three passes defensed and three forced fumbles.
2002: His first season in Houston, Sharper posted 178 tackles and added 5.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and five passes defensed.
2001: Started all 16 games at right inside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens, recording 134 tackles and a career-high six sacks, one fumble recovery, one special teams tackle and 12 passes defensed.
2000: Finished third on the Ravens with 102 tackles and added a team-leading five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four passes defensed, one INT and five special teams stops. Posted 20 tackles, two sacks and two INTs during Baltimore’s four-game postseason run that ended with a Super Bowl championship.
1999: Started all 16 games, registering 122 tackles, along with four sacks, four passes defensed and 10 special teams stops.
1998: Started all 16 games, finishing fourth on the team with 84 tackles, three passes defensed and one sack.
1997: Started 15 of 16 games as a rookie, recording 79 tackles, three sacks, three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one interception. Made his NFL debut against Jacksonville started and registered five tackles. |
