Henry Coley

It certainly sounds like Henry Coley came away impressed from his visit to the University of Virginia. The linebacker from Bayside (VA) says if he had to choose today he would have to give the nod to the Cavaliers after seeing campus this weekend.
After talking to
Henry Coley
about ten minutes ago, I think one thing is clear; he found a school he really likes.
Coley walked away from his visit to
Virginia
yesterday with another scholarship offer to consider, bringing his total up to five. The other schools that have offered include
Temple
,
Navy
,
Louisville
, and
Richmond
.
“I loved everything about Virginia,” said Coley “I had a great time in Charlottesville. Every question I had was answered, I got to eat lunch with a bunch of their guys, things went great. The campus was beautiful, and my Mom even said that out of all the coaching staff’s that she has met, she likes Virginia the most so far. Things could not have gone better.”
‘Lil Hen’ says he is not that close to making a decision but no matter what, Virginia will stay very high on his list.
“After this weekend, if I had to sign tomorrow for whatever reason, I think I would have to choose UVA. I know nothing like that is going to happen but they are probably my number one school right now. I don’t really know a bunch of other schools that are going to offer, but no matter who does Virginia will be right there at the top.”
Sounds like good news for HooNation to me. Henry told me that UVA is looking at him to play inside linebacker, which is where he will be moving this year at Bayside.
I still see him as more of a Sam linebacker/defensive end however. Coley is better at the point of attack. He has good movement for his size, but I don’t know if it’s good enough movement to play middle linebacker. He is a big strong kid who uses good leverage. I could really see him standing up to the run and coming off the edge at defensive end.
Along with the Hoos, Coley also says he plans on taking a visit to Louisville for sure. Keep an eye on this kid I think he would be a good score for HooNation.
