Coble Looking For More Offers

Desmond Andre Coble from Meadowbrook High School in Richmond, Virginia currently holds one Division 1 offer and is hearing from schools across the country.

Desmond Andre Coble, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound athlete from Richmond, Virginia already has an offer from Duke, and is hoping for many more. "I get letters and stuff all the time from Virginia, Michigan State, Tennessee, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and a couple others." Coble played quarterback and safety last season at Meadowbrook High and could end up playing a number of different positions in college. Named All-District as a utility player following his junior season, Coble has the tools to compete anywhere in the defensive backfield as well as being a playmaker on offense.

Coble was in the room along with the rest of his teammates on signing day supporting fellow Meadowbrook star Morgan Moses.

"Mo chose Virginia and the press conference was cool. Maybe I'll have one next year," Coble said while laughing.

"I probably get the most stuff from Virginia. I'm also a Tech (Virginia Tech) fan." Coble will begin taking visits after he finishes playing basketball this season.

At quarterback last year, Coble threw for 1559 yards and had 1082 yards on the ground. He also tossed 16 touchdown passes and ran for another 12. At safety he picked off three passes.
