Fischer Hoping for Uva Offer

Offensive tackle Kyle Fischer holds four scholarship offers and he is hoping for several more. Virginia is one of the schools the Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley prospect is high on.

“Right now I have offers from Maryland, NC State, Vanderbilt and Louisville,” said the 6-6, 280-pound lineman. “Outside of those schools I’m still looking pretty hard at Virginia and South Carolina. I’m hoping both of them offer me down the road.”

What does he like about the Cavs?

“I’ve been talking to Coach Belin for a while now and he and I both get along pretty well. I know UVa is a good school and I want to know more about them. It’s one of the schools I would like to take an official visit to.”

Where else might Fischer visit?

“I wouldn’t mind going to Vanderbilt, NC State, Louisville and maybe one more, other than UVa. I want to take most or all of them, but I’m going to wait until after our season to start doing that. There’s a chance I might get a couple more offers if I perform well enough, so I’ll do what I can do on the field and then see what happens.”

Spring Valley is currently 4-0 and Fischer has graded out well in each outing. He said he might wait until the end of the recruiting process before making a final decision.
