Parr to Decide Soon?

Defensive tackle Zane Parr has narrowed his list down to two schools – UVa and Michigan.

The 6-5, 295-pound prospect from Williamsport, PA has an offer from the Cavaliers.

“Michigan hasn’t offered just yet, but I’m still looking at them. I would say Virginia and Michigan are definitely my final two schools. I’m looking at both about equally. There are things about each school that I really like.

“With Virginia, it’s about everything they can offer aside from football. The campus is beautiful and the academics aren’t going to get any better than they are at UVa. Overall the feel of the school is just great. I like the weather a lot and the people are very nice.

“At Michigan it’s more about the football tradition. Everyone goes out to the games. The football program is the center of the entire area. I like that about them.”

Parr is hoping the Wolverines offer him soon, but he will not wait too long.

“I would like to make a decision soon, so we’ll see what happens. I’m not looking at any other schools, really.”

What are Parr’s plans for the coming weeks?

“Well, I’m not exactly sure when I’d like to make my decision, but if I do anything it will probably be pretty soon. Virginia has invited me to go to one of their home games, so I’d like to do that. Nothing is official, but I’ll probably go down there before too long.”
