Basketball Editor/Analyst
Posted Nov 16, 2005

Former Virginia Cavalier Jason Clark has popped up in Roanoke and is set to play for the Roanoke Dazzle in the NBA Development League this season.

While Devin Smith and Elton Brown garnered most of the headlines from last year's senior class many forgot about the toughness and defense that Jason Clark brought to the team. Not one to be left out as his fellow seniors are already playing professionally overseas Clark has landed a job playing in the NBA Development League playing for the Roanoke Dazzle.

Clark won the team's best defensive player award during his sophomore and junior years. He also ranks fifth all time on the schools blocked shots list with 112. Clark is also a former graduate of Hargrave Military Academy.

The Dazzle has a few players that may ring a bell with ACC fans in Will Bynum (GT), Anthony Grundy (NC State), and Clark.

We will have updates on Jason Clark, Devin Smith, Elton Brown, and all the former Hoo basketball stars playing professionally throughout the season.
