Garrett Utt of Atlanta, GA is a talented quarterback who recently spoke
to Hoonation.com. Garrett is 6’4, 197 pounds with a 4.82 in the 40-yard dash.
“I play great on the run, if the play breaks down, I am good at finding
the open receiver,” Utt replied when asked about what he does best on
the field.
When asked about what he looks for in a school, Utt mentioned “Playing
time and coaches, if the school already has seven quarterbacks, then I
will not be too interested in them.”
Schools such as Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Maryland, Clemson,
Central Florida, North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois and Virginia are
recruiting Utt. Although he has not had any official offers he plans
on taking official visits this summer then will begin to think about where
he would like to commit. Early favorites for Utt are Kentucky, Duke,
Georgia Tech, and Central Florida.
When asked what he liked about Virginia, Utt said, “Uva’s coaching
staff is great,” he said. “I like
Charlottesville and the school is very nice.”
With
so many different colleges interested in Utt, his options are very
open. As the months pass by, and official visits are taken, he will
narrow his list and then commit, but until then the possibilities are
endless for this talented quarterback.
