Phillips Commits to UVa

Add another commitment to UVA’s growing list of 2005 commitments as Hot Springs (Va.) Bath County tight end John Phillips committed today to the Wahoos.

UVAInsiders confirmed the news today with Phillips' mother, “He is it at UVA’s practice right now. Yes, he did commit.”

Phillips, a 6-foot-6, 215 pounder, makes the sixth player to commit to Virginia for the class of 2005.

He makes the fourth jumbo-athlete to commit of the season and the fifth player at 6-5 or taller.
