Looks like the Wahoos are in great shape so far for one of the top offensive linemen out of Pennsylvania.
Plymouth (Pa.) Wyoming Valley West lineman Kurt Mattes lists three offers so far, and one of them is from Virginia. "I have offers from Pitt, Virginia and Vanderbilt."
Mattes also list Penn State, BC, Iowa, Notre Dame, Northwestern, and Michigan as schools that are showing interest.
As for favorites Mattes says, "So far my favorites are the schools that have offered."
I have been to Virginia several times unofficially and I am going to the spring game. I have already met all the coaches."
Mattes has also been top UVa's Junior Day.
Mattes list Virginia's qualities as, "A great education, good coaches, football is on the rise, and they play in the toughest conference."
The Wyoming Valley West tight end is being recruited as an offensive lineman.
Although the Cavaliers are in good shape for Mattes' services, don't plan on his commitment anytime soon, "I'll take all my visits after the season is over with."
