Canadian Running Back on UVa’s Radar.

Aurora (ON) St. Andrew's College junior Jonathan Femi-Cole participated in the UVa one-day camp last month. The Canadian running back is hearing from Virginia and he talks the latest in his recruitment.

Jonathan Femi-Cole holds offers from Minnesota, Buffalo and Nevada, but other schools could be joining the list very soon.

“(UVa) wants me to send them my transcripts,” said the Aurora (ON) St. Andrew's College junior running back. “Right now I have Georgia on me, they want to see me again; Tennesee is also reviewing my film, they are also talking about an offer; West Virginia also has talked to me.”

Although the Wahoos have not offered the 6-foot-1, 220 pound standout, Femi-Cole has impressed the coaches, and the interest is mutual.

“I think it would (be great if they offered). I like Virginia right now- great facilities, great coaching. It’s a good place to be.”

UVa was not the only school Femi-Cole visited this summer. The 2015 prospect also made pit-stops at Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

Femi Cole does not have a timeline for a decision, but he does have a few things he needs to see from a program before he does commit.

”I really like the sense of family and brotherhood because I am going to be there for four years. I really want to enjoy myself. I want to get a long with the coaches and I want to envision myself succeeding in that program.” Recommended Stories
