Trevon Diggs might be a 2016 prospect, but the talented wide receiver already has plenty of suitors. The Avalon wide receiver holds offers from Florida, Virginia, Clemson, Penn State, Georgia, Maryland and Nebraska among others. Florida State was the latest school to offer the standout.
"It was a blessing," said Diggs of his newest offer from the Seminoles. "I liked it a lot."
Diggs was so intrigued by his offer, he is already planning a visit to the Sunshine State, and hopes to visit both Florida and Florida State when he heads south.
The Terps are among the schools the wide receiver is looking at. His older brother, Stefon Diggs, currently plays for Maryland, however, there is another school that might also have his attention.
On Saturday, Diggs was participating at the UVa 7-on-7 tournament. Diggs does hold an offer from the Cavaliers, and since receiving that offer, he has established quite a good relationship with head coach Mike London.
"I like it. I can see myself here," he said. "I think I have a strong relationship with him (London). He is a very respectable guy. I like up to him a lot. He is very caring and he cares a lot of his players. He is a good man."
According to Diggs, he plans on taking a few officials before making his decision during his senior season. But when he chooses who will get those officials, he is looking for a few things.
" (I am looking at) not just football. What can they for me after football," he explained. "How are they going to treat me; how are they going to take care of me; what are they going to do for me, if football does not work out."
