The Lynchburg (Va.) Christian Academy safety was participating in the UVa 7-on-7 tournament over the weekend when he received the news from Cavalier head coach Mike London. And this offer is one that certainly stands out.
"It's huge," he said. "It is very big because it is my home state. There is nothing more important than your home state. It is a big offer for me."
Although the 2016 safety's recruitment is heating up, his first priority is adjusting to his new school and team. Glass transfered to Lynchburg Christian from George Washington, and the tournament at Virginia was a big chance to see where things stand.
"It is going really good. We are more like a family, everyone is just connecting," he said. "The team chemistry is awesome and everybody has a great feel for each other, and we are learning more about each other and how we play."
Glass had a few picks on Saturday, which did help him not only land an offer from the Wahoos, but also gave him a confidence boost.
"I feel more comfortable, the more and more I play the better I get-with the new system that they just put in."
Glass hopes to visit Pittsburgh and Ohio State later this summer.
