Kamara Set to Announce

SAN ANTONIO--Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan four-star receiver Jamil Kamara is set to announce his decision on Saturday in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl today. Will he be a Wahoo? HooNation previews his announcement below.

Four-star wide receiver Jamil Kamara is only a few hours a way from making his college choice. The Bishop Sullivan standout will make his choice in the first quarter of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where he will choose between Virginia, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh.

All things are pointing towards a two horse race between the Badgers and the Cavaliers, however, things could not look any better for UVa.

"(Virginia) is probably my top school right now," he said after Tuesday's East practice. "Virginia and Wisconsin are pretty close right now.

"Virginia, I went on my official visit and it was where I felt at home. They told me a lot of good things on how I could fit into their offense, and I felt really close to the coaches.

"I see they needed some help on the offensive side of the ball," Kamara said. "The defense held their own. They have a new quarterback coming in, which is one of my friends, Corwin Cutler. …The main thing is they needed receivers. They have some nice receivers, and if I came in they would have a pretty solid receiver group."

But Wisconsin is still fighting to land Kamara's services and trying to spoil Coach Mike London's run in Virginia Beach.

"Wisconsin has Jared Abbrederis leaving, and I'm cool with the coaches there as well and one of the players (T.J. Reynard) from my area is down there as well and I could fit in well there.

"I see a school that is winning," he said. "They have a winning program and they're going to big bowl games. In Wisconsin, I would try to fit the role Abbrederis had. That's a good thing as well.

Although the Badgers still remain in the hunt, it is all pointing to a Wahoo type of day.
