CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-- Virginia continued to be its own worst enemy on Saturday, as Duke handed the Cavaliers their fourth straight loss. Here is a look at some of the numbers and big points from this weekend's loss.

  • First first down in second half 10:48 in 4th quarter.

  • Duke scored 35 unanswered points

  • Blue Devils held the ball for 17:35 compared to UVa's 12:15 in the second half.


  • UVa scored on its opening drive for the first time this season.

  • Virginia's two point conversion was its first since 2011 against Miami.

  • Kevin Parks rushed for 50 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns; while also having 88 yards and one touchdown on six catches.

    • Parks became the 18th player to rush for 2,000 career yards

    • He now has 2,003 career rushing yards, 30 yards shy of Perry Jones (2009-2012).

    • He also ranks eighth on UVa's career rush touchdown list with 22.

  • Taquan Mizzell lead the team on the ground with 52 yards on six carries; which included a career long 36-yard rush.

  • Jake McGee has a 10-game reception streak.


  • Jake Snyder had a career-high eight tackles.

  • Henry Coley had a career-high 14 tackles with a sack and two tackles for a loss.

Injury Questions

  • Brent Urban: He was on the sidelines during the game walking on crutches with a right boot on his right foot. It is still not clear how long he will be out for. But he will not be back this week for Georgia Tech.

  • Tre Nicholson:Still out with a toe injury, but he is no longer wearing a boot. He is probably a week or two away from getting back.

  • Daquan Romero: His shoulder is still bothering him. He said after the game, he was feeling the same pain he felt last week and was wearing an ice pack when we saw him. Recommended Stories
