Jackson Eager for Second Season

J.J. Jackson

Purcellville, Va.-- Woodgrove High School (Purcellville, Va.) DE/OLB J.J. Jackson has had quite the year. HooNation caught up with the Virginia commit about his second season playing ball and his role on bringing in new talent to Charlottesville.

Jordan "J.J." Jackson has had quite the year. Jackson not only switched his high tops for a pair of cleats last fall, but in April committed to play ball at Virginia.

The Woodgrove (Purcellville, Va.) DE/OLB compiled 12 sacks and racked up 82 tackles in his first season playing high school football and now the Wolverines' standout is eager to get back on gridiron.

UVa is yet to decide if Jackson will be a defensive end or outside linebacker, according to Jackson. But he says he is working on just adding some weight and see how it goes from there.

Jackson caught up with FOXSportsNext this morning - talking about his second season, Virginia football, and his role in trying to bring Gillman School (Maryland) duo Melvin Keihn and Troy Vincent to Charlottesville.
