James added to Senior Bowl roster

Former Miami running back Mike James was added to the Senior Bowl roster last night.

University of Miami running back Mike James was invited to the Senior Bowl last night, the school announced today.

James (5-foot-11, 225 pounds) played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl last weekend and will now prepare for the Senior Bowl on Jan 26.

James, who started every game for the Hurricanes this past season, ran for 642 yards and six touchdowns. He finished his four-year career with 1,386 yards rushing, 585 yards receiving, and 22 total touchdowns.

A former four-star recruit from Ridge Community High in Polk County, James will be the first Hurricane running back since Cleveland Gary to play in this game.

The Senior Bowl will be played on Jan 26 at 4 pm EST, and will be televised by the NFL Network.
